Fair Games invites players to share their builds ahead of the 1.0 update - and they do!

Aarhus, Denmark - July 10, 2025

When the developer of the Core Keeper/Stardew/Terraria/Rimworld competitor, sandbox survival gem, Necesse, released the Creative Mode update this Friday, July 11th, hopes were high that players would pick up on the option to create freely.
And the players certainly did not disappoint!

More than 200 presets have been submitted to Fair Games within the first few hours of Creative Mode being live.

All presets are being reviewed by the creator of Necesse, and the best will be part of the 1.0 release in October.

Fair, aka, Mads Skovgaard, is in awe of the creativity and ingenuity of the player submissions:

“The pickup of Creative Mode has been fantastic! It’s amazing how much creativity is out there. We have been following the submitted presets so far, and there are already so many good candidates for the 1.0 world generation!”

About Creative Mode.
As made popular with Minecraft, creative mode allows the players to freely build with godlike powers, letting them bring their creativity to life at a whole new level!

In addition, Fair released over 100 new building assets with the update, which ranges from new furniture and statues to old books and rotten food.. Yum!

Players were invited to actively take part in building the new seamless world coming with Necesse 1.0, by introducing an in-game feature where you can submit your amazing builds to potentially be part of the new world generation, coming in 1.0.

And clearly, they love this!

But don’t take it from me - Take it from one of the many, many fans who left a Steam review behind:

Review by Peluceus Donmian on Steam: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Thaumaus/recommended/1169040

This game breaks the golden rule of game development - 'don't just make 'X' game but better'. But the developer didn't just break the rule. They broke the rule off, stabbed it into their pelvis, and without even taking the time out to wait for the rule to heal and fuse to their body, used that and their giant magnum dong to DP everyone who has ever said that line.

I concur with all the reviews saying this is a mish mash of 'Rimworld,' 'Minecraft,' 'Stardew Valley,' 'Terarria,' with some bullet hell influences.

This is the most game to ever game. My flabbers are ghasted to extreme levels that nobody speaks of this game really anywhere.

My only request would be to balloon the visuals budget and configure the game to run in Pseudo-3D so you can play in a first or third person view, just so you can say you are in those markets and subsequently dominate them.

I have only an hour of gameplay but I assure you, I have played this game before. Dozens of times over many different points of my life. This game is that guy pal. This is the game that every girlfriend is afraid it will be when their man tells them to not be worried about it. Today it's your man. Tomorrow, it's you too. Both of your are now bottoms, and- oh look, the game's about to break another rule-

This game ♥♥♥♥♥. Hard. 9.9999999999/10"
