Artist Life Simulator, true to its name, puts you in the shoes of an up-and-coming artist in an alternate world set in the 19th century, trying to survive and create their magnum opus. The game is inspired first and foremost by artists who tirelessly pursue their passion, and it is our goal to emulate the struggles that we ourselves have endured. The main inspiration for Artist Life Simulator from the realm of gaming is Cultist Simulator. The main mechanics of the game are similar, albeit we have tried to make the game a bit more accessible, yet keeping the "roguelike" difficulty element. Living in the 19th century as a painter is not all fun and games after all.
Fight with depression, addiction or madness & other demons of the psyche. Collect and combine feelings, memories, ideas and inspirations. Paint masterpieces, sell them for riches (or scraps) and explore the city of Nova Oportunia.
