Borıng. Out Today on Steam

A boring game about doing boring things

Malaga, Spain –March 4, 2025– Indie game development studio Pixelatto has announced that Borıng., a boring game about boring things, is now available on Steam. The credits are sold in a separate DLC.

Borıng. is a game designed to be intentionally dull, challenging players with monotonous tasks that test their patience rather than entertain. Unlike most games that aim to be fun, this one dares you to endure its tedious challenges—until you inevitably quit and find something more productive to do.

If you've read this far, you're already intrigued—so why spoil the experience? Give it a try and see how long you last. After all, you're already bored.

  • A mashup of nonsense, memes, and randomness.

  • The credits are sold in a separate DLC.

  • Useless tedious tasks everywhere.

  • Total playtime is less than 2 hours, making it easy to refund on Steam.

About Pixelatto

Pixelatto is an indie game studio based in the south of Spain. A few years ago, they launched their first video game, Reventure, a humble nonlinear adventure with 100 different endings that became a huge success.

Even while Reventure was successful, it had a very low production budget and its extremely humble aesthetic and code limited how far we could go with it. And so they set themselves on a quest to find the best artists and reimagine the complete Reventure universe.

And so, the idea of a tabletop game came alive. They used Card Creator (which is also developed by Pixelatto) to quickly build and iterate on a mechanical prototype, and so the first version of Reventure: Orbtale was born.

Last year, Pixelatto launched Nothing and Something, two games that proved that simpleness and low production budget video games can also become hits, achieving more than 600k players.
