Chiba, Japan, March 19, 2024 — INTI CREATES has released an extensive playable demo on Steam for “Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark”, the new 2D action Metroidvania in the Gal Guardians series. The demo shows off several areas and the first major boss fight against the Demon Lord of Hoarding, Dranis. Players can also transfer their save data to the full version, releasing March 27th.
Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark
"Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark" is the newest title in the Gal Guardians series of gothic-inspired 2D action-adventure games.
"Servants of the Dark" greatly expands the setting from a single castle to the entirety of the Demon Realm, and further evolves the gameplay into a true Metroidvania adventure. It also stars two new characters with different playstyles, Kirika and Masha, who players can switch between in order to fully explore the vast areas and take down enemies and bosses.
You must search far and wide for the means to revive Kirika and Masha's master, the Demon Lord Maxim, and restore him to power. In this upside-down world, you'll fight alongside demons and against demons, as well as Demon Hunters from the Human Realm. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure!

Steam Demo Out Now, and Pre-orders Open
An extensive demo of Servants of the Dark is now available on Steam offering a large portion of the game to explore.
Experience the opening of the story, where the Demon Lord Maxim meets a grim fate at the hands of rival lord Lyzenorg, and the demon maid sisters Kirika and Masha must set out to save him!
Venture through Maxim’s castle and out into the Demon Realm, where you’ll collect power ups and craft weapons to access new areas of the map. Play all the way to the boss fight against the Demon Lord Dranis and transfer your save data when Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark releases on March 27th!
