TOUR A HAUNTED SUBWAY AND RUN AWAY FROM A WEIRDO, SUBWAY MIDNIGHT RELEASES ON OCTOBER 28th

Spend your Halloween with ghosts inside creepy trains!

SEATTLE, OCTOBER 18th, 2021 - Solo developer Bubby Darkstar and publisher Aggro Crab, developers of the satirical dungeon crawler Going Under, are excited to present Subway Midnight - a horror game that's as cute as it is scary. You'll help ghosts with their unsolved issues and runaway from a stalker inside a strange subway system, jumping from one creepy and psychedelic train car to the next. Subway Midnight will be surprise releasing on Steam, October 28th.

"Subway Midnight was the culmination of 3 years of solo effort on my behalf. I set out to create a wacky, light-hearted, and unique take on the horror genre in a way that really reflects my inspirations and aesthetic, and I hope that will shine through for every player," says developer Bubby Darkstar.

Subway Midnight is the first game published by Aggro Crab, an unexpected role they took up out of the intense desire to work with Bubby and help release Subway Midnight under a developer first publishing agreement.

"As the publisher of Subway Midnight, not only are we only taking 10% of the revenue, we’re also not taking a single penny until we sell at least 10,000 units," says Nick Kaman, Studio Head at Aggro Crab. "We didn’t think it would be right to take more than that considering that the game is already at the finish line, and since we’re a first-time publisher, we decided to add the minimum units condition as a way to show our confidence that we’ll sell at least that much. It also makes for a fun challenge for us and our community, if you’re seeing our marketing efforts and think we deserve some cash, help us get there! We’ve been around long enough to have seen a lot of unfavorable publishing deals for other developers, so hopefully this initiative can inspire the rest of the industry to be more generous as well."

For reviewers: Subway Midnight takes around 4 hours to beat the first time around,
but is meant to be replayed to unlock different endings. Best enjoyed in a dark room.

This game contains sequences of flashing lights that could trigger symptoms in some photosensitive players.
