Postknight 2's Turning Tides Update Drops Soon!

From the hodgepodge town of the Helix Outpost to the walking city of Dev’loka: Unveil Wastelands Secrets, Halt the Oncoming War.

Malaysia, September 21st, 2023 - Kurechii, the acclaimed Malaysian indie developer behind the adventure RPG Postknight 2, is set to launch the highly anticipated "Turning Tides" major update on the App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei AppGallery. Delve into a new desert landscape, an area unexplored in their Prism universe, with new enemies, and tonnes of new content and features – including new languages. Will players find friends or foes?


Embark on an epic journey to find an artefact hidden deep within the scorching Helix desert. The Wyords who live there are a hardy, dragon-like race who fight with an arsenal of guns and knives strapped to their hips. Joining players on their quest are the dark Postknight, Raz, passionate Postknight, Almond, and Rho’don, the idealistic Wyord Wayfinder in uncovering the mysteries of a land lost to time. As they venture deeper into the Wastelands, they’ll not only find what they’ve sought but also unravel the histories of Helix. In an unforgiving land, witness these characters discover who they are beyond their expected destinies.


Besides the end-game storyline and area, there are also features that all players can enjoy:
 

  • The much-beloved Division Campaign from the original Postknight, a competition between Divisions, makes a comeback but with newer and better features, where players expand their Postknight team by hiring Team Recruits to help them complete quests. 
  • Show off their Postknight Rank, best outfits and armour to their friends when customising an online profile. 
  • Befriend the mystical Sand Angel and derpy Golpy as faithful pets throughout their Postknighting escapades. 
  • Plus tons of quality-of-life features (including upgraded battle experiences), UI and UX improvements, and more to elevate their delivering adventure!

In celebration of the release, Kurechii will give Coins, Crystal Gems, and other special rewards in a two-week-long event! 


Turning Tides will be releasing in two separate patches. The first on 26th September 2023, with version 2.0 Wastelands: The Lost Ocean, followed by version 2.3 with Dev’loka: The Walking City in Q1, 2024!
