[Seoul, Jan. 19, 2024] – Action Square has officially announced that their upcoming dungeon crawler game, Dungeon Stalkers, set to be released in the first half of this year, will be participating in the Steam Next Fest.
Steam Next Fest is scheduled to take place from February 5th to 12th (PST time) and will showcase a wide array of upcoming games for players to try out.
Developed by Studio HG under the leadership of Producer Han Dae-hoon, Dungeon Stalkers combines the popular dungeon crawler genre, which has gained significant traction in the Western market, with the battle royale genre, offering a PvEvP experience.
During this Steam Next Fest, players will have the opportunity to experience an enhanced version of Dungeon Stalkers compared to the first playtest conducted in November last year. The game has incorporated various new features based on user feedback from the initial playtest, including an improved voice chat feature to enhance user collaboration in team play, a ranking system for competitive play, and new costumes.
PD Han expressed, "Dungeon Stalkers, which had our first playtest last November, surpassed expectations with approximately 30,000 users joining us." He added, "After the test, we actively incorporated user feedback and made significant improvements to enhance the overall immersive experience of the game."
Action Square previously conducted the first playtest of Dungeon Stalkers during the "Action Square Steam Festival 2023" in November last year. Throughout the event, developers engaged directly with the players through Twitch live streams, and promotional videos were prepared and shared on the official YouTube channel and website.
