London, UK – June 2025 – Indie game studio Bitzooma is thrilled to announce that the playable demo for its upcoming colony sim strategy title, Border Base, is now live on Steam. Players can now dive into the early Alpha version of the game and experience the first steps of building and defending a military outpost in a war-torn 1960s world.
The demo goes live just days before Border Base is officially featured in Steam Next Fest, which kicks off on June 9. As part of the event, players around the world will have the chance to try the game, watch live developer sessions, and share feedback directly with the team.
Set in a gritty fictional 1960s universe—the same world as Bitzooma’s breakout hit Black Border—Border Base is a hybrid of colony sim, base-building, and strategic warfare. Players take command of a devastated border zone, rebuild essential infrastructure, train troops, manage supply chains, and control key convoy routes in a land devastated by war.
Inspired by genre giants like RimWorld and Oxygen Not Included, Border Base aims to deliver a fresh twist on the colony sim genre with military-themed logistics, deep tech trees, and a strong narrative backdrop.
