Lore Trailer Showcases the Spectacularly Strange and Surreal World of ZPF

Narrated by Quibley, new trailer showcases the characters and realms found in the highly-anticipated 16-bit shoot ‘em up

Pittsburgh, PA – January 31, 2025 – The spacefaring felines at Mega Cat Studios and shoot-’em-up savants at ZPF Team are thrilled to release a brand-new Lore Trailer for ZPF, the highly anticipated 16-bit shoot-‘em-up for the Sega Genesis and Mega Drive.

This latest trailer for the game, which raised over 1000% of its Kickstarter funding goal last July,  is narrated by an extraordinarily cozy Quibley, taking players deeper into the spectacularly strange world of ZPF while offering a surreal exploration of the game’s characters and realms. Each world is brimming with bizarre landscapes to navigate, strange enemies to encounter, and unforgettable bosses that will put your piloting skills to the test.

And now, an important message regarding fulfillment from the game’s publisher:

“As we continue making progress on ZPF, we wanted to give you an update on the release schedule. Development is essentially complete, and the team is steaming along to put the finishing touches on the game, such as adding in the backer names from our Knight of Legend tiers. Due to some unexpected vendor delays from the holiday seas

on, we’ve had to make the tough decision to shift the fulfillment date to May. We know this is a bit later than expected and that delays for any reason are frustrating, and we truly appreciate your understanding as we work through these final details to make the ZPF campaign fulfillment the very best it can be. That said, if the materials we're waiting on arrive sooner, we'll absolutely make sure to get them into your hands as quickly as possible. We'll be taking advantage of this extra time by focusing on further playtesting and QA so we can catch any sneaky bugs we might’ve missed, and guarantee a smoother and more enjoyable experience for everyone.

Thanks again for your support and patience—it means the world to us as we put the finishing touches on the game, which promises to be an unforgettable experience for your Genesis and Mega Drive.”

Key Features:
