“아케인” 시즌 2 기념으로 ‘리그 오브 레전드’, ‘전략적 팀 전투’(이하 ‘TFT’), ‘리그 오브 레전드: 와일드 리프트’(이하 ‘와일드 리프트’), ‘발로란트’, ‘레전드 오브 룬테라’ 등에서 차후 몇 달에 걸쳐 “아케인” 관련 게임 내 콘텐츠가 나올 예정이다.

시즌 1에서 멜의 어머니로 등장해 강하고 권위적인 모습을 보인 녹서스의 장군 암베사 메다르다가 ‘리그 오브 레전드’, ‘TFT’, ‘와일드 리프트’, ‘레전드 오브 룬테라’에 찾아온다.

‘리그 오브 레전드’에서는 ‘무작위 총력전’ 게임 모드에 찾아올 “아케인” 테마 업데이트의 일환으로 ‘진보의 다리’에서 게임을 플레이할 수 있다. 또한 새로 나올 ‘고귀’라는 등급의 스킨으로 “아케인” 속 징크스의 이야기를 게임 내에서 경험할 수 있다. 해당 기간에 출시 예정인 다른 장식 콘텐츠는 시즌 2 트레일러에 등장한 아케인 싸움꾼 바이 스킨과 징크스 테마의 넥서스 마무리 효과가 있다.

‘TFT’는 13번째 세트를 맞아 “아케인”으로 완전히 물든다. 파우더처럼 “아케인”에만 등장하는 챔피언 여러 명과 애니메이션에서 영감을 받아 만든 체계와 특성이 등장한다. 또한 새로운 결투장 스킨과 미니 케이틀린 같은 전략가 등 다양한 “아케인” 관련 장식 콘텐츠를 출시한다. 향후 더 많은 콘텐츠를 발표할 예정이다. 새로운 세트의 첫 패치 기간에 ‘TFT’의 실험적인 PvE 게임 모드 ‘톡톡이의 시험’이 돌아오니 게임에 입문하거나 돌아오는 플레이어라면 편안한 환경에서 게임에 적응할 수 있다.

‘와일드 리프트’에서는 신지드와 워윅이 게임플레이 업데이트를 받는다. 종전에 발표한 하이머딩거는 현재 게임 내에서 만나볼 수 있다.

11월 9일 시즌 2 개봉일이 다가올수록 게임 내에서 만나볼 수 있는 콘텐츠에 추가로 현실에서도 “아케인” 상품이 출시된다. 펜티 뷰티(Fenty Beauty)의 화장품, 유니클로(UNIQLO)와 블랙밀크(BlackMilk)의 의류, 펀코(Funko)와 토키도키(tokidoki)의 수집품을 비롯한 온갖 의류, 피규어, 음악 상품 등을 기대할 수 있다.

“아케인” 시즌 2 사운드트랙의 두 번째 싱글인 스트레이 키즈(Stray Kids), 영 미코(Young Miko), 톰 모렐로(Tom Morello)의 ‘Come Play’가 등장하는 최신 트레일러를 시청할 수 있다. 이번 싱글은 라이엇 게임즈와 버진 뮤직 그룹(Virgin Music Group)에서 발매했으며 여기에서 감상할 수 있다.

“아케인” 시즌 2는 11월 9일 넷플릭스에서 개봉하며 각각 특색이 있는 3막에 걸쳐 나온다. 1막은 11월 9일, 2막은 11월 16일, 시리즈를 종결하는 3막은 11월 23일에 시작한다. 넷플릭스에서 손에 꼽을 만한 성공을 거둔 “아케인”은 크리스티안 링케와 앨릭스 이가 만든 애니메이션 시리즈이다. 크리스티안 링케, 마크 메릴, 브랜든 벡 등이 총괄 프로듀서로 참여했다. “아케인” 애니메이션의 연출과 제작은 포티셰 프로덕션(Fortiche Production)에서 파스칼 샤뤼와 아르노 들로르 공동창업자의 지휘 아래 이루어졌다.
