XP GAME SUMMIT 2025 RETURNS TO TORONTO DURING OFFICIAL VIDEO GAME MONTH

Major industry conference welcomes over 300 companies, 17 publishers, and top speakers to connect, grow, and shape Canada’s $5.1B games sector

June 9, 2025, Toronto, ON - XP Game Summit 2025 returns to the Hyatt Regency Toronto, June 12-13, as part of the City of Toronto’s newly proclaimed Video Game Month. Produced by XP Gaming Inc., the two-day B2B conference connects developers, publishers, investors, service providers, and platforms for business-focused networking and insights that support the growth of Canada’s globally competitive games industry.

Canada’s video game sector contributes $5.1 billion annually to national GDP, with 88% of games made in Canada sold internationally offering a high-value, low-footprint economic opportunity for digital exports.

“The Mayoral proclamation of June as Video Game Month is a powerful recognition of our industry’s economic and cultural impact,” said Jason Lepine, Founder & CEO of XP Gaming Inc. “XP Game Summit builds on that momentum by connecting creators, funders, and partners to drive real business, global growth, and lasting value for Canada’s digital economy.”

This year’s XP Game Summit will welcome over 300 companies and 17 attending publishers - almost triple the previous year - reflecting continued demand for export-ready content, collaboration, and creative IP. The B2B summit is one of seven major events contributing to Video Game Month in Toronto, expected to attract over 40,000 attendees across June. The City’s official proclamation highlights gaming as a cultural and economic force, with crossover innovation in film, AI, and immersive technology.
