Groundbreaking new Co-op Horror Extraction PVE Game “Dungeon Done” DEMO is now available

What if ordinary people, not heroes, face monsters and traps in a dungeon? Can you and your friends make it out alive?

From September 5th to September 16th, Groovy MOAI, an indie game developer based in South Korea, is running the beta test demo for their latest cooperative PvE horror extraction, Dungeon Done, on Steam.

The game’s universe centers on ordinary individuals, unequipped and unskilled in combat, yet driven by the dream of becoming legendary heroes. To make a living, they become scavengers, venturing into dangerous dungeons previously cleared by heroes in search of treasures either overlooked or left behind. In this uncharted dungeon, they must navigate deadly traps, face monsters they thought were long dead and confront unforeseen horrors.

Unlike traditional extraction games, where players fight monsters or each other, Dungeon Done emphasizes teamwork and strategic gameplay to overcome dangers, collect treasures, and escape the dungeon. Survival is key, with players focusing on avoiding monsters rather than engaging them directly.

Up to six players must cooperate to make it out alive, with the dungeon layout randomly changing each time, offering replayability through varying scenarios and difficulty levels.
Players may need to take on different roles, gather essential gear, and communicate effectively to operate traps, open treasure chests, or escape from specific monsters.  Also, Dungeon Done stands out for its dark fantasy setting, enhanced by the detailed graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5, along with an immersive sound design that heightens the tension, thrill, and fear within the dungeon.

As of September 10th, just five days after the demo’s release, Groovy MOAI has already implemented three hotfixes based on player feedback, demonstrating their commitment to engaging with the community and making rapid improvements. This open communication and quick response suggest the potential for the game’s long-term success.

Overall, unlike typical extraction games that focus on PvP, Dungeon Done emphasizes PvE, with survival depending on teamwork to avoid monsters and escape the dungeon. That’s why Dungeon Done can offer a fresh and unique experience to the genre. Players can now experience this exciting twist by trying the demo on Steam.

The Dungeon Done demo is available from September 5th until 1 AM on September 16th(PDT), with the Early Access launch planned for Q4 2024.
