LINE Games’ SMASH LEGENDS Brings New Character ‘Flare’, Adds ‘Custom Match’ and ‘Team Deathmatch: Giant’ Mode

Seoul, South Korea – June 8, 2021 – LINE Games Corporation announced that its Multiplayer Action PvP SMASH LEGENDS, developed by 5minlab and published by LINE Games, has brought new contents to the game, including a new Legend and two new modes.
 
As a Marksman character, the new Legend ‘Flare’ can fire at the enemy at a long distance with its magic canon. Flare can be acquired at the newly started SMASH Pass Season 3 ‘Troublemakers, Move Out!’, along with various rewards.
 
Two new modes offering fresh play experience have been added as well. With ‘Custom Match’, players can customize the number of players, type of mode and map to suit one’s taste. It also comes with a spectate feature in which players can see others play.
 
‘Team Deathmatch: Giant’ is based on the basic rule of the previous 3 vs 3 Team Deathmatch Mode, where the team scoring 10 points first wins. But it stands out with its unique feature, which will change a character’s size depending on its health status. As the size changes, the character’s attack range and damage exposure area will change as well, which will offer a fresh play experience for all.
 
Finally, ‘Legend Mission Event’ will run starting today and throughout July 6. Players can collect event-special items by clearing the daily missions set for each character, and trade them for rewards such as ‘Key Doublers’, ‘Special Box’, ‘Coins’, ‘Puzzle Pieces’, event-exclusive SMASH Effect and profile image frames.
 
SMASH LEGENDS is a Multiplayer Action PvP game for everyone with its simple and intuitive controls. As a multiplatform title, the game supports cross-play support between mobile devices and PC (Steam), and offers a total of 13 language options including English, French, German, Korean, Japanese and Chinese (traditional/simplified) for players around the world to play together.
