- Developer Boneloaf has released a new content update for Gang Beasts, which includes a large dynamic Crane for players to brawl upon.
- The new content update also includes new costumes and stage hazards for players to experience, including birds that swoop in and throw players across the stage.
- Gang Beasts still regularly has hundreds of thousands of players, and frequently reaches top selling charts across all platforms.
Developer Boneloaf, known for their unique take on physics based multiplayer brawling, today releases a brand new content update for Gang Beasts, shortly to be made available on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Microsoft Store, Nintendo Switch, Humble Store and Itch.
The new update comes with a brand new stage for players to brawl on. Located on the docks of Beef City, the new Crane stage will see players attempting to not fall off a large static Crane. For the first
time in Gang Beasts ten-year history, this stage includes an implementation of a new driveables system, with players being able to jump into the Crane cockpit to take the controls.
As players experience Crane, they will also be vulnerable to a new stage-wide escalation mechanic - birds. As each game progresses, a flock of birds will slowly accumulate across the stage and begin to target players with the intent of pulling them into the sky and off the stage.
Update 1.25 also comes with numerous bug fixes and optimisations across all platforms.
Crane is the first new content update for Gang Beasts since the fan-favourite Trawler stage in December 2021. Alongside this content update, developers Boneloaf have also released Meat Co Test Laboratory for the Apple Vision Pro headset earlier this year, as well as being the lead producer and sponsor for the A MAZE Sheffield festival in August 2024.
