Soccer Manager 2026 Kicks Off a New Era for the Series

Invincibles Studio have kicked off a new era in the Soccer Manager series with the release of Soccer Manager 2026.

 

For the first time in the series history, Soccer Manager 2026 will be released as an update instead of a new app, with no need to redownload the game every year. From now on, instead of having to restart every year, players of the game will see their progress carry over from year to year as they update to the latest release.

 

On top of that, Soccer Manager 2026 is full of new features that round out the management experience. This year, Invincibles Studio have added:

 

  • A brand-new manager traits system, complete with perk trees that provide a whole new way to customise your playstyle.

  • A redesigned objectives system that provides new players with extra direction and returning players with exciting rewards.

  • A user interface refresh, with a slick new colour scheme and a simplified UI that focuses on usability.

  • Huge improvements to their Match Motion engine, bringing new animations and graphics to the in-game match experience.

 

The Soccer Manager games have been a mainstay in mobile football management for a decade now. The series lets players take charge of either real-life clubs or create one of their own and gives them full control over the club. You can sign your dream team, put together tactics, and watch it all play out at your fingertips. There is a fully simulated transfer market with real players, international management, and many more features that create a comprehensive football management experience.

 

Soccer Manager 2026 aims to deliver an authentic experience, with official licenses from DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga (Bundesliga 1 and 2) and Manchester City, plus partnerships with SpudBros, Undr The Cosh, and Sport Social, who appear as in-game sponsors. Players can even jump into Create-A-Club mode and take charge as the SpudBros or the Undr The Cosh lads themselves.

 

Invincibles Studio, based in Preston, has been making football management games for over two decades. The first release in the Soccer Manager series came in 2015 and is now celebrating the launch of its 12th installment.
